Fairport Harbor West Lighthouse had been owned by the federal government until I purchased it through a General Services Administration auction in 2011.  While the US Coast Guard kept the beacon on top shining thanks to a dedicated solar panel, the electrical wiring throughout the soon-to-be-renovated interior was a series of disjointed connections, antiquated materials and wiring that resembled a bowl of spaghetti.  Fortunately, I was referred to Steve Ford and Positive Energy as the perfect combination of knowledge, experience and determination to handle such a difficult job.  Not only was it a top to bottom electrical redesign and full installation of the historic lighthouse structure, but supplies and equipment needed to be carried through Mentor Headlands Beach State Park, out the dunes, across the sand, down the break wall and up a ladder into the lighthouse. I highly recommend Positive Energy for any electric challenges you may have -- even if your house isn’t a lighthouse.
